About

As Martha Graham says, “the greatest dancers are not great for their technical level, they are great for their passion”

History of the Festival

I’m Felicien Meli originally from Cameroon, a country in Central Africa, I started to take an interest in dance very early, already during school holidays I had fun interpreting and dancing to folk songs, as time went by, I became more and more passionate about dance and I started to participate in festivals around Italy.

I noticed that in the region where I live, (Veneto) there was no Kizomba event, and in 2015 as a response to the expectations of the kizomberi of the Verona area and province, I decided to organize this festival and living in this wonderful city Verona, which as a symbol it has an arena, from here I created its name: KIAF Kizomba Arena Festival

This Festival was created to unite teachers and students in a single world, that of the Kizomba, where not only you dance, but you know new people, you learn new styles and you combine passion and love.

Kizomba: be one big family!
